Will you ship “EU Friendly”?
We will ship the products into Europe to our Depot with all customs and duties prepaid, and from that Depot to you. You should receive your order without having to pay any additional fees to your local government customs office. If you normally receive “EU Friendly” Kickstarter Rewards without any monies due you should not owe anything when you receive the shipment from this campaign.

Is VAT/GST/Sales Tax included?
You will see a VAT, GST or Sales Tax amount added to your order for shipments into the UK, EU, Canada and into certain US states where AEG is obligated to pay sales tax. These taxes will be calculated and paid in the Pledge Manager. Due to various complexities unrelated to Kickstarter but directly related to where you will receive your order we cannot produce an estimate of these amounts during the campaign. You will be able to log in to the Pledge Manager and see a total delivered cost and request a 100% refund of your Kickstarter Pledge for 15 days after we open the Pledge Manager if you find the total cost of your order unacceptable.

How will Brexit affect delivery of my Rewards?
It should have no effect. If necessary we’ll ship Rewards destined for the UK to a depot in the UK and avoid shipping them from the EU Depot.

How many people can play the game out of the box?

Can I play the game Solo or CoOp?
Solo rules and components are included but there is no Co-Op mode.

Can the game be played by more than 4 players?
Not at this time. The game is tightly balanced for 1-4 players currently. Moreover, game length is correlated with the number of players , and we feel that for many groups a 5 player game would simply be a longer, less fun, version of the game.

What is the Pledge Manager? Can I manage Add-Ons and multiple Rewards with it? Can I upgrade my Reward with it?
The Pledge Manager is a tool that we will use after the Kickstarter campaign has ended to finalize your order. You will be sent a link to the Pledge Manager via the email address you have registered with Kickstarter. The Pledge Manager will allow you to upgrade your pledge, select Add-Ons (if any are offered), and calculate shipping costs. You’ll be able to add additional Rewards to your order as well. We expect to open the Pledge Manager two to three weeks after the campaign ends.
Pledge Managers are 3rd party tools and are not operated by Kickstarter and don’t connect to your Kickstarter profile. Purchases made on the Pledge Manager will not be reflected in your Kickstarter backer information, including campaigns backed.
We have limited supplies of Sands of Dunestar and Cliffs of Coldharbor. We do not intend to reprint them unless something extraordinary happens during this campaign. If we do not sell out of the All Game Play Reward we will have some available in the Pledge Manager as Add Ons (at their previous prices). They’ll be purchasable first come, first served until supplies are exhausted.
We will not open the PM for Late Pledges until Emissaries of the Vale backers have had a reasonable time to add on to their orders after we open the Pledge Manager.

Will I have access to the Pledge Manager if I didn't select a Reward? What if I pledge $1?
Access to the Pledge Manager is not guaranteed for any Backer that does not pledge for and select at least the $45 Emissaries of the Vale Reward. We reserve the right to deny late pledges or upgrades from the “No Reward” Reward, and “No Reward” selections will not be refunded.

Our pledge manager will allow you to add multiple copies of the game to your order and shipping for the whole package will be calculated at checkout.

Exactly how many sleeves will be necessary to sleeve all the cards?
In Edge, you don’t sleeve the cards. The sleeves ARE the cards. The 350 count Tarot-sized Extra Extra sleeves add-on will provide more than enough sleeves to replace any of the pack damaged in the Guildmaster box.

What is your refund policy?
We offer a no-questions-asked refund policy. You can get a 100% refund within 14 days of the close of the campaign. Thereafter we can refund 92% of your pledge (a full refund minus the Kickstarter and payment processing fees we cannot recover). You can request a refund any time before your Reward is shipped.

At this time there are no announced non-English partners for Edge of Darkness. This campaign is for the English Language version only.

Can I pay via PayPal?
Kickstarter does not accept PayPal. However you will be able to use PayPal in our Pledge Manager if Late Pledges are offered for this campaign.

Will this game be sold in stores?
No. We do not plan a general release of this game to retailers. Retailers who are participating in our Alpha Store program are able to order it directly from us but there is no provision for this product be sold to the wholesale network for wide retail distribution.

Are there Enough Tokens to play the Game in the Guildmaster box?
Yes, but the supply is very tight. To control the production cost the Guildmaster base game has just enough tokens to play but the players have to “make change” regularly. The Cliffs of Coldharbor includes the Advanced Guild Pack, which adds more tokens to the game to increase the supply and is included with every Cliffs of Coldharbor expansion automatically.

No; the connections between the two games are thematic not mechanical.

The Guildmaster box is full if you add Dunestar and Coldharbor, so you’ll want to keep the Emissaries box for storage of that content.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
